Lasercut Works

Project Scope: Blog

A CNC router literally stands for Computer Numerical Control router and is a computer controlled cutting machine. A CNC router can perform the tasks of a hand held router used for cutting wood and other materials but can produce consistent work at a fast rate.

Here at LaserCut WORKS our CNC Router that we have in our London studio offers machining on sheets up to 2440 x 1220mm and has a Z – axis capability of 300mm. LaserCut WORKS offers a complete CNC Routing service tailored to our clients’ demands on many materials. This is our CNC router in action!

Using a CNC router, rather than a handheld router, can create a professional, customised manufactured product with a really high level of detail and accuracy. It can be used to create a vast array of products such as wood carvings, interior and exterior signage, mouldings and even furniture.

The effects of using a CNC router can be really cool. Designs can be as elaborate or as simple as you like (give us a call on 020 3441 3374 to find out if we can help you with your next idea). CNC routing works really well for this sign that we worked on for H&H Kebab Centre, where a high density model board was carved.
